Chapter thirty six
AURORA'S POV
seeing Dax standing at the bottom of the stairs I didn't know what to expect from him, was he mad at me? I still wasn't sure if I was mad at him anymore or if I was just so happy to see him, being away from him for so long felt like a life time. I look at him and I see in his face that something has changed. I get back in tune with his feelings through the mate bond and I can feel he is resolved and feeling a lot better than what he was. That's when I decide I can't be away from him any more and dive into his arms.
"I'm sorry" he whispers to me and that is all I needed.

DAX'S POVThings were just not adding up from the start of all of this.Shanaya escaping, Nelson knowing about Riggs and just loads of other little things. AURORA'S POVThis last week has been a lot better with Dax, I have seen him more, he has been working less and we are spending quality time together when we are with each other.I can feel his anger and his stress through our mate link, but he controls it and deals with it where before he wasn't.I found out through the chatter that there was an altercation with Nelson, Dax and Riggs. I got home after spending all day with Sue and away from Dax, I didn't realise how much I missed him until now. I pick my pace up and go to his office thinking he would be in there but he wasn't, do I make my way to our room but he isn't in there either. I was about to turn and go find him when I notice a dress hung up on the wardrobe door that I had not seen before.I walk to it and there is a note attached.
