Lina POV.

I wake up when I hear a door close and open my eyes to see Alex come in with food. I can feel something is bothering him. When we are done eating I move to sit on his lap and I look deep into his eyes.

“What is it?” I ask he looks back at me taking a heavy breath.

“The day you passed out, we found out that Kalena was the traitor. She was the one feeding any information she could get to our enemy. She was in pain because she was mated to Ken and felt and pain he had. I killed her that day, ripped out her heart.”

I look at him in shock. I knew that Kalena didn’t like me. But to betray us, to betray her brother the last family she had.

“Koa?” I ask.

“Told me he would not say or fight it if I killed her. That he hope our Alliance would still stand. He didn’t even want her body go with them when they left to go home.”
