Chapter Twenty-one
Alex POV.
I see Lina go upstairs. And I want to go with her. But I am fuming and livid because of that asshole Ken. I wait for Logan, and we go to my dad’s office. As we enter, I see Lina’s grandfather sitting in a chair talking with my dad. My dad looks at us with a raised eyebrow.
“What are you two doing here, and not in school.”
“We need to talk.” I answer.
“I will leave to give you some privacy then.” Lina’s grandfather stands up and I shake my head. He needs to know this.
“No stay, please. This is about Lina.” I turn to my dad. “Did you tell him about her last home and so on?” I ask my dad and he nor his head.
“Yes, they deserve to know. And then Lina doesn’t have to do it herself.”
“I agree. But I am afraid it’s not over yet.”

Alex POV.When I wake up, Lina is still laying with her head on my chest. I gently move her and go enter the bathroom. Instead of taking a shower, I start to fill up the tub adding bubble bath soap with lavender to it, knowing it has a calming effect.
