Chapter Twenty-two

Lina POV.

Alex won’t tell me where we are going, he hurt tell me to wait and see. I try to trick him with small talk, putting my hand on his thigh. He just smiles and holds my hand with his. I sit back in my seat, looking out of the window. Alex and I have been getting so close, I trust him and also feel my body and mind wanting to be with him. I know I will never forget the abuse and the pain. But I feel as if he can show and teach me to relax and enjoy being intimate.

“I hope you like steak." I look at him and see him smile.

“Steak is good." He gives me another big smile and drives upfront a steakhouse. Getting out he comes around to my door opening it for me, helping me out.

We enter the restaurant, and a waiter comes up to us. She looks at me then Alex, and he smiles big.

“Hello, just name is Kelly, and I am your waiter. would you like a table for two, to your friend and you or do you have reservations?” She says the word friend as if Alex
