Chapter thirteen

She was in her office going through a file Todd had told her to make corrections on when the land line rang, it was the boss, she picked “come into my office now" he sounded pissed, she ran into his office, knocked lightly and stepped in when he said “come in “she walked in lightly afraid of making him more angry “what’s this” Todd said dropping the document she had brought in earlier on the table “I can’t make head or tails of this, it’s all scattered, is this how you assist me" Todd asked an already scared Amber, he looked up at her and saw how terrified she was so he lower his voice and spoke more calmly “go rearrange those" he said and dismissed her, Amber’s voice was barely audible as she said “okay boss” she walked back to her office blaming herself for not checking again to be sure it was well arranged.
