Stanley walked into TC real estate firm, their logo boldly written in black letters on the wall, there was no missing it, he asked the receptionist about the CEO office and was directed to Todd’s office, he saw a a lady with oval face, blue eyes and mole at the right corner of her mouth walking out of the office and froze, lots of thoughts going through his mind “why was she here, was it really a planned work, is she looking to kill another" he played all these questions in his heart but found no answer by the time he came to, the lady had disappeared, he shook his head and knocked on the door “come in” came the reply, he stepped in and walked up to Todd stretching out his hand for a handshake “hello Mr Todd" Todd extended his hand and shake his saying “hello Mr Stanley" Todd didn’t beat around the Bush he simply asked a question that has been plaguing his heart for two years now “so who is it, you said you have the footage, show me please" Stanley put his hand in his pocket and retrie

Todd was disturbed by what he had seen earlier, his wife was killed by the woman of his dreams, like literally, his life seems like a big cruel joke to him, was he been punished for something he had done in his past life, he thought of what to do next bit his thoughts were all muddled up, he wished he could grabbed Amber and squeeze life out of her but that will make him a murderer as well and he didn’t have the guts to do that, he even started liking her nit knowing she was the root cause of his problem, he thought about firing her but that will only make him a total loser, he’ll lose money he had loan to her and she didn’t deserve a penny from him, so he chose to keep her close and torture her as much as he can, if he hands her over to the police they may let her go eventually because the footage did show Sarah running into the road without checking properly. Over the next few days everyone was busy preparing for the new estate opening at TC real estate firm, Todd made sure to give Amber more than her own share of work, like asking her to print documents for the accounting department and ensuring the site was clean, which was the job of the cleaners, Amber was frustrated but there was nothing she could do, she had signed a contract to remain at the firm and service the loan she took. In the background someone else was also preparing for that day. Someone who saw Amber as a threat to her mission, sure Todd wasn’t treating her well at the moment but she was sure his anger had to do with either protecting her or his level of anger was aggravated because he had feelings for her and was battling with this feeling, in any case this person wasn’t willing to take chances. Stanley had watched the video over ten times when he suddenly remembered the footage of a man chasing someone that he saw at the convenience store he went to earlier, he rushed out and drove straight to the store where he met the elderly woman once again, he had to explain who he was all over again and told her about what he had seen in the CCTV footage before, it took her five minutes to walk to her office where she kept her laptop, she told Stanley to help himself, he checked the videos and pick the date he needed, he saw the man chasing someone and rewind the video “there" he said as he paused the video, Sarah’s face showed across the screen “how did i miss this before" he said to himself, he copied the video to his flash drive, thanked the woman and left, he couldn’t wait to tell Todd what he had found out so he called him immediately “I found something, am on the way to your office now" Stanley said to hung up, he drove straight to TC, just as he was about entering Todd’s office

“So, who were you working for two years ago" Todd asked Amber without any preamble the moment they sat down the B&G cafe, he had notified Amber of a brief meeting at the cafe and told her to meet him there during her lunch break, “Erm, I don’t understand this question" Amber said quietly, scared that whatever meeting was going on here, it doesn’t look good for her, the expression on Todd’s face alone told her she was in for it.“am sure you’re not stupid, are you? Amber couldn’t wrap her head around what she has been told or the fact that Todd Anderson apologised for treating her badly over a wrong conception, the fact that he could bring himself down to say sorry to her, amazes her, she remembered how her jaw draw open on their own and she had to pinch herself before she could believe he actually said the word “sorry" Todd and Stanley had has to meet with Ann in the fastest time possible, she remembered the matter at hand now was about murder, she brought our her phone and dialled Ann.“Hey Ann, long time no talk, have you been staying out of trouble" she asked at a go, not knowing how to bring up the topic she really wanted to talk about, she listened for Ann reply but it didn’t come as fast as she expected so she asked“Are you there, Ann"“am here, am just shocked to see you call and speaking like you actually care" Ann said sharply“oh please, you know I care and that’s why you take advantage of it everything, anyway I didn’t call to argue
