Claire’s POV

Seeing Alpha Farell chuckle darkly was a sign that the seed I planted was gradually germinating. But when he crumpled the letter, and his eyes darkened, I knew my work here was done, and I was finally free from Gabriella, or Melissa, whoever she claims she is.

I could finally breathe!!

"What did the letter say?" Aiden asked, as he made to pick up the letter.

"Leave it," Alpha Farell said coldly, his wolf aura filled the room making Anya whimper. Alpha Farell doesn't use it often, and from what I've known he's really pissed off right now.

"Who is it from?" Aiden stubbornly asked, even though he at least obeyed and left the letter on the floor.

"She's gone," that was all Alpha Farell said, before walking out of his door.

"Who's gone?" Aiden asked as she followed him hurriedly behind. I did also, I needed to keep up with my act.

"Aiden, I don't think now's a good time," I said, and held him by his arms, stopping him in his tracks.
