Aiden’s POV

"Stop," Farell ordered in a low growl. I had barely driven for a minute.

I sighed, as I stopped momentarily with the ignition still on and turned to face him. "Farell, I understand you're hu… you're disappointed in Gabriella, but heading to goddess knows where in this state is not advisable," I told him. "Let me come with you, I promise you won't even notice I'm there."

"I'll be fine, Aiden," he said lowly. "Don't treat me like I'm some child."

"I'm not–"

"For fuck sake, Aiden!" He growled, and hit the dashboard. "I said I'll be fine!"

I sighed, because I knew even though I can be strong headed, it can't be more than Farrell's strong headedness.

"Be safe," I told him, because I knew at this point he wouldn't listen to any word I say unless I do as he asks. "I'm just a phone call away if you need me."

Farell, didn't say a word and just got down from the passenger's seat, and there was my cue that I was no longer needed right now.
