Chapter Fifty

JASON

It was definitely a long flight, and I could feel a little bit of tiredness start to seep in, but I couldn't let it deter me from my mission. Which was to spend the rest of the day with my mother and make her happy.

Even if my father was mostly absent all the time, I knew his death still hit her hard. After all, this time, there was no hope of ever seeing him again.

There was a blackcar waiting for me as I strolled out of the airport with one hand in my pocket, and the other fiddling with my tie. Just for effect, I had worn a pair of glasses. I knew the paparazzi would recognize me anyway, but heck if I cared about that.

"Hello, Sir." Tom, my mother's driver greeted, as he opened the door of the car for me.

"Tom." I nodded, before ducking, and getting inside of the car.
