When I heard the knock on my door, I was expecting Jane. Or even Jason, to an extent.

But I was in for a harsh surprise as I saw who it was. And as if that wasn't enough, he was sporting an annoyed expression, like he held a grudge against me.

Colton shut the door behind him, and slowly advanced into the room, staring straight at me. And I held his gaze, not wanting to be beat in the eye game.
