“So, what’s stopping you from getting her back?” I asked, taking back my cup from him.

“I don’t fucking know man. I just don’t know how to face her now, after imposing the issue of the onetime thing to her, despite knowing she also wanted more.” He said, looking away from my direction, and towards the almost empty bar.

I sighed then. “Well, the only thing I can tell you to do right now, is to talk to her. Tell her exactly how you feel, without sugarcoating anything.” I said.

Tyler chuckled, although I could tell it wasn’t out of amusement. “Okay.” He said and shrugged. “How about you? How is the thing with Elena?” He asked, changing the topic straight away, to one I didn’t want to talk about.

“Fine. I mean, she hasn’t shown any sign of wanting to cross us yet.” That part was true. But the other part that was left unsaid, was making my heart flutter like crazy.
