Chapter Fourteen

Emily's POV

I lost count of the number of rooms we passed, I wasn't even sure I’d be able to find my way out, and I couldn't tell what fate had in store for me.

We finally stopped in front of a door and he led me inside.

“Stay here, I'll send someone to you and I'll talk to you later “ Without waiting for my response, he slammed the door behind him leaving me alone.

It was a large room with sky-blue curtains

that were drawn shut tightly across the windows, there was a vanity mirror on one side, an armchair and couch that laid around the room lazily, but mostly all the furniture was made of wood. The walls were white, the floors polished wood.

Everything about it looked immaculate. it had a nice homey quality. There were two vases filled with flowers and plants placed strategically around the room.
