Chapter one hundred and forty two

Emily’s POV

“What are you doing here?” She roared at me. Her green eyes were filled with fury, Fury that was directed at me.

It was the look I had grown to despise after she had told me off the very first time we met.

I had taken Luke's advice and began to visit the part of the community where they had a therapist.

It helped me cope in more ways than I could imagine and gave me some kind of closure on all of it. It gave me something to focus my energy on for the foreseeable future when I would have no use for it again.

“Answer me!” the redhead yelled again, her voice louder this time, and even angrier. The air around us seemed to grow hotter like she had been holding an inferno within herself for days on end.

“Why do you keep ignoring me? Why do you keep avoiding me? Why are you not responding?” She yelled.

“Did I ever do something to you?” my voice was quiet compared to hers, but it echoed against the walls of the small room nonetheless.

I wasn’t sure what I expected, but she hadn’t
