Tanner In The Center: Chapter 21

"It's a park?" Tan question as Sven parks the car

"Basketball court" Sven corrects him. "I like to play basketball here sometimes but I haven't been in awhile. I thought maybe you and I can play for a little bit"

"You want me to play basketball? Sven, I can't even hold a ball longer than 30 seconds without it somehow falling through my hands, look at my hands!" He holds them out

Sven smiles "they're cute"

"They're small" he puts them down.

Sven gets out of the car and opens the back seat grabbing his ball, "come on Tan" he says to Tan who's still sitting in the car.

"I'm gonna embarrass you" Tan walks behind him

"There's no one else on the court so we're good"

"You're gonna regret those words."

They both walk on the court and Sven pulls Tan to where the hoop is, "how about we start with just some free throws that's pretty easy." He hands Tan the ball standing him a small distance away from the basket

"I don't know what that means"

Sven laughs "just make some shots Tan that's all it is
