Ch 36 - Before I Knew It, We Were Kissing

AZALEA'S POV

“Well, someone missed your sarcasm,” Brantley walked back into the kitchen. He looked much better than when he left the kitchen.

“I JUST thought that,” I giggled at the scariness of the situation.

“What did you expect? Great minds think alike,” he winked.

“Ah, so that’s what it was,” I continued to laugh.

“Yep! I hear people getting up, so unless if you want to encounter them, we should leave now,” he suggested. My first thought was Clayton.

It was enough to get me into action.

“Let us be gone!” I announced dramatically.

He chuckled and shook his head and led the way out. I was actually excited to see everything now that he was going to be showing me around. I glanced at him and I could tell that he was appreciative of this day out. It was definitely better than spending the day moping. I have to find out more about his situation with Bentley. I was brought out of thought when we reached the garage.
