Ch 35 - It's Not Like I Was Lying

AZALEA’S POV

Something was holding me down, but it wasn’t an uncomfortable feeling. If anything, I welcomed it since it was combined with the warmth I was feeling and the tantalizing scent dancing around my nose. It smelled like chocolate, spicy musk and pine. It’s a strange combination that worked for me.

I opened my eyes to find the light from outside shining across my new room. It was honestly beautiful, but my mind was taken away from its beauty when I noticed the two arms wrapped around me, and the torso that I was apparently hooked around. With my height, I couldn’t even look up without straining my neck.

How romantic.

I shifted back and up a little while managing to not wake the person up. I couldn’t stop the gasp that escaped my lips, which he thankfully hadn’t heard as he slept away. The person whose embrace I was in was none other than the Alpha himself.
