CHAPTER 38

Blair kept admiring the place and saying nice things about it.

"Should we order now or should I take you to meet her first?" He asked her.

"I want to meet her first," she said and smiled.

"Alright then" he replied.

He got up from the chair and went over to help her up.

Dylan led her to the back of the restaurant where his godmother's office was located.

He knocked on her door and waited for her response before going in.

"Oh my, Dylan! I didn't think you would come today" she squealed.

"I wanted to surprise you," he answered and hugged her.

Blair stood and watched their surprising display of affections. She barely saw Dylan so chirpy and happy with someone that is not her.

She started to think that maybe he didn't completely hate everyone.

"Come darling" the older woman called for her.

She continued to admire Dylan's godmother. The older woman seemed to be in her early 60s and she was beautiful indeed. She was an emission of beauty and grace. Her charisma at her age marveled Blair too.
