“Can you please book me one of the suites on the top floor?” I asked entering the hotel. It was one of those five star hotels that were a mafia’s safe ground. No matter what the feud between us outside the hotel’s grounds were, we were to sit like civilized people inside the hotel without harming one another, an IF one of us dared break these rules, then we all knew the fate of that ‘crime’.

“As you wish Mrs. Ivanov. Do you wish for me to let your husband know that you are here?” The receptionist asked and I shook my head. I came here not to be found, another thing was confidentiality, if I wished to stay here for years without anyone knowing, the hotel could keep me here for as much as I desired. As long as I paid them of course, and no one would know that I was here if I didn’t wish it to be known.

“I want no one to know that I’m here. Not Nikolay and most definitely not my father” I said seriously. The man nodded in understanding, his name was David
