"Princess ---" Dad left the particular spot he was shielding, and my heart dropped to my feet. Life ran out of me at the fastest pace ever, looking at my Jasper sprawled on the kitchen table with blood all over his mouth.

Color got drained from my face as it grew pale. Is that my Jaspy on the table? At first, my feet were glued to the ground as though they couldn't move. My brain refused to acknowledge that it is my son sprawled on the kitchen table like a lamb of sacrifice.

My instincts kicked in, rebooting my entire system. I rushed towards him, "Jaspy? My baby...." I couldn't control the tears that fell from my eyes. They just continued dropping like there was a full tank stored in my eyes.

"What the fuck happened!" I screamed like a mad woman. The maid shifted backward in fear. "Why is Jasper like this? Can someone give me a fucking explanation?"

My dad held my hands, but I fought to hold my son. "The physician is on his way here. Jasper will be fine." He tried to calm me d
