"That was a remarkable speech, but there is a bounty on your head now," said one of the elders, Sir Ernad, from the backseat where he was sitting.

I was confused. What did he mean? "Alpha, we have to sell the rogue because she is a blue blood," I heard, and my eyes widened in fear as I turned to my dad. Has my secret already been exposed?

Some of the Alphas insisted that a bounty had been placed on my head. I had two options: they could sell me to those who wanted me dead, or they could kill me and claim their prize.

I sank back into my chair, bewildered. What kind of test was this? I had just delivered a speech from the bottom of my heart, hoping it would change their hostile views towards me.
