"Get out!" My fist clenched as her angry voice echoed in my head. Everything she had said was replayed and I hated myself for trying to prove myself to her when I had done a lot of damage.

Aurora had the right to be angry at me and I deserved all her ill treatment. My trials of constantly apologizing to her were little compared to what I had done to her.

She didn’t even believe me when I said I didn’t send those guards to attack her on her way to her father’s pack. It was considerably worse to think they were not from me when obviously, they were putting on something that would make one know they came from my pack.

I opened the mind link that I had closed earlier because I didn’t want anyone disturbing me from taking care of Aurora when she lost consciousness.

“Meet me in the dungeon now.” I ordered my Beta through the mind link. Those stupid guards had gone ahead on someone else’s order to cause harm to my mate under my name, making Aurora believe that I was responsible for it.
