"Ralph must not see Jasper!" the ribbons in my hands fell to the floor in an instant.

“What did I just hear the maids say? Ralph is here!”

Quickly, I rushed out of the room. The maids bowed fearfully, but I didn't spare them a look. I needed to take Jasper out of that celebration ground before Ralph sees him.
