I continued to scream and trash around until I broke free and out of whatever was holding me down and landed on my butt on the hard floor with a thud. 

My eyes flew open and immediately went darting around in panic and meeting only darkness until the lamp by the bedside got switched on all of a sudden, giving light to the once dark room and I was able to take my very first breath.

My eyes continued to scan my surrounding until it settled on Carlo's worried features as he hurried from beside the bed and knelt a couple of distance from me on the floor.

I immediately felt relieved at the sight of him just being there with me.

Gosh.

It was a dream.

It was just a stupid fucking dream and I was still in my room like I never left in the first place. But everything felt so damn real. I looked over at the closed door and then cocked a brow at Carlos, wondering how he got in and he threw his hands up in the air.

"I heard you
