While Logan slipped into a peaceful slumber by my side, I lay awake a bit longer just listening to his heart beat as his chest rises and fall slowly in rhythm with mine. This moment was all that I ever wanted many months ago, to be wrapped completely in the arms of my loving mate while I bathe in his intoxicating sweet scent night after night, with no care or worry for anything else.

All of my dreams would have come true if only the world was a simple place and not full with twist and turns every single step of the way until one start to loose count of just how many one has been unfortunate to encounter in this journey through life.
