Clara POV

"Stay back Clara." I heard Alexander's warning, his body blocking my view of seeing these monsters properly.

I was scared, shaking in fear I don't know what to do we are just two and these animals are up to five and I don't know how to f*cking fight.

"What are we going to do?" I muttered under my breath, fear visible in my voice.

"Just stay back, I'm going to protect us."

Us? My eyes went wide open in shock. Did he just call me and him "US"? I don't know what this feeling is but I felt a tingling sensation erupting in my body as if we were real couples.

Gulp hard and I try to remain calm like Alexander had told me he said he is going to protect us and I believe in him.

"Come and get me," Alexander screamed, luring them towards us, and immediately about three rogues came rushing towards our direction while he pulled out his arrow and he started shooting at them.

He was fast and brave as his arrow hit one of the animals on the head and it collapsed to the floor.
