Chapter 51

Ashley's POV

We were lucky to find the store after trying so hard. When we located it, it was around twilight. Just like no one told us where the infirmary was, no one told us where to find the wood store as well.

We had located the kitchen earlier, it was easier to locate. But the distance between the wood store and kitchen wasn't a joke.

Even after the massage and the pain relief I had at the infirmary, my head banged so hard and my back ached. I slumped into the ground tired and frustrated.

Allen walked past me and pushed the door slightly. The door opened to reveal neatly arranged logs of woods. I gasped at the sight. They were large and long.

"These will be heavy," I said. Allen shrugged it off and said nothing. He entered the store and got down to work.

Within a few minutes, he had pulled out 40 beams from the store. He walked out and fell beside me breathing hard.
