Chapter 53

Adrian's POV

I made my way to the west of Colleen. I had a thatch not too far from one of the caves where we usually had our secret meetings.

Yeah, it was dangerous to stay around our secret caves, but it afforded me the opportunity to always check on the cave even when no one was around.

I caught some games on my way down. I was as hungry as hell and I didn't joke with my food. All through the way I couldn't take my mind off my attacker, the picture of her back was implanted in my head.

Soon I arrived at my destination. Sitting on a log not too far from my thatch, I prepared to roast my game again. And just like earlier, there were no matches.

I brought out my stones and began the battle to create fire. Suddenly, the hair on my skin stood erect and I was mad.

"Who the hell is this uninvited stranger!?" I barked and moved away from the set up.

And just as I had predicted, fire sprouted out beneath the set up. This time the fire burned moderately, it wasn't a large fire
