Chapter 2

I am so happy.

That was what I feel every time I saw him. I always stalk his account hoping that he'll post a new photo of him but he didn't. After the encounter at that party, I never saw him again. Hindi ko rin siya ginulo sa i* kahit ka nakafollow kami sa isa't isa.

I am contented admiring him on his I* post.

I wish I could see him again if fate will given me a chance.

maybe someday...

Years passed and everything was still the same. Next week is my 16th birthday, Mom told me that they will throw a party for me. Ang gusto ko sana ay wag na pero gusto nila maranasan ko ang 'sweet 16th' kuno na yan. Nagtataka nga ako bakit may ganon pa? I mean it's like a debut when you turn 18th right? I didn't get it why? Or maybe it depends on the celebrant's lang?

I was in senior high school now. My chosen strand is ABM since I plan to enter the business world just like my father and brothers. ABM strand is not hard but it's tiring. Madali lang naman ang mga major subject dito nakakalito lang talaga ang accounting dahil mahaba ito. This strand will allow you to have a better understanding since this is more on analyzing. You'll also be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge that you will need to succeed in your goals.

I'm currently studying here at Garnessi University de Manila. This school is kinda expensive, I think the tuition here is about 200k per sem in SHS. While college student is 300k per sem. This school also accepts scholar students, they provided a free dorm and monthly allowance for them. Our family was one of those people's providers. Mom wants to help them, especially the student who wants to study but has financial problems.

I was strolling around the café when I heard a familiar voice calling my name. I smile sweetly then waved my hand to my two beautiful best friends.

''I miss you girls!'' sabi ko ng makalapit sila.

''Aw, I miss you too Danny girl.'' my bff Vera.

''Ay pucha ang drama naman! Pero namiss ko kayo mga bruha!'' pareho kaming napasimangot ni Vera sa sinabi ni Christine.

Sabay-sabay na kami nagpunta sa room kung saan kami nakalagay. Today is our first day, at isang year na lang ay college na kami. I can't help but get excited.

Vera and I were in the same strand and class while Christine chose the HUMSS strand, she wants to be a lawyer daw since she's good at arguing. Well, I admit she has the potential to be a lawyer tho, pero kung di papalarin taga awat na lang raw sa barangay.

Christine's room was on the 4th floor while ours is on the second floor. She got pissed because of that. Malalayo raw sya sa amin but we just laughed at her reaction. Kahit kase last year ay sobrang pagrereklamo ang ginawa nya. She can make friends naman because she's friendly but she said that we're enough.

When we reach our room, pinili namin umupo sa pangalawa sa unahan para hindi kami madistract sa ingay. Isa pa ay mas malinaw ang boses ng magtuturo kung dito. Natahimik ang lahat ng pumasok si Ms. Porsalena, kilala ito bilang strikta at masungit na guro dito.

''Introduce yourself, start from you!'' turo nito sa unahan.

Kinakabahan naman tumayo ang babae. Pinagmasdan ko naman si Ms. Porsalena habang nagpapakilala pa ang iba. She's pretty behind her strict and thick eyeglasses. Maybe she's in her 40s now.

Nang si Vera ma ang sumunod ay umayos ako ng upo.

''I'm Venice Raniella Lopez, 16 years old. You all can call me Vera for short.'' hindi nagsalita si Ms. at inilipat lang ang tingin sa akin.

''Dahlia Nicaleigh Moretti, Danny for short.''

After we introduce our self she discussed all of her rules. Once we break her rules, we will be punished.

We waited for Christine outside of her room, para hindi siya magtampo. A Minute later, she happily wave at us and then hold our arms.

''Grabe nakakatamad ang klase!'' reklamo nito.

''When ba you hindi tinamad?'' si vera.

''Hoy masipag ako noh!'' Vera just rolled her eyes.

We ate our lunch peacefully hindi na sila nagbangayan pa. We bid goodbye when it was time to get back in our room. Umupo na ako at sumandal para hintayin ang next teacher namin. Our next subject is Business Finance.

Ilang minuto na ang lumipas pero hindi pa rin dumadating ang guro kaya napagisipan muna namin ni vera na pumunta sa restroom.

''Who's our teacher kaya? I heard those students in other sections na super gwapo raw!'' nailing na lang ako at hindi na pinansin ang pagka excited niya.

Kinabahan ako bigla ng makitang may nakatayo na sa harap, kinulbit ko si vera at nginuso ang room. ''Hala there's a teacher na! What we are going to do?!'' she panicked.

I held her hand and knock three times.

When the door slowly opened, I bow my head because our teacher might scold us for being late. ''Sorry sir if we're late.'' sabi ko ngunit hindi ito sumagot.

Nag-angat ako ng tingin upang tignan ito. My eyes widened when I realize who is he. It is no other than Theseus Ferrari! He's looking at me using his cold eyes, like what the freak? Parang hindi nakakausap eh, still masungit like before.

''Both of you, Come inside.'' sinunod na lang namin ito.

Hindi ko sinalubong ang titig niya dahil sa kaba. He's my first crush, ang I've been admiring him from a far for almost 3 years! I can't believe it.

He glanced at me but I tried to avoid it.

Nang hindi naman siya nakatingin ay sinulit ko na para matitigan siya. He looks more matured now. Our last conversation was last year and that was a Christmas greeting nothing more. I can't help but to admire him, the black eyeglasses that make him more mature, his pointed nose, and the haircut that is very fit for him. He looks like a model.

He's not our temporary teacher naman pala, tagabantay lang raw. Elementary lang ang peg?Nandito siya dahil nasa meeting raw ang teacher namin at sa isang araw pa ang balik nito kaya sya muna ang papalit.

I felt so awkward, lalo na panay ang tingin niya sa akin. I don't want to assume but I can't help.

Crush din niya ba ako?!

Nang matapos ang klase ay nakahinga ako ng maluwag dahil naiilang ako talaga sa kanya. I was about to go with Vera but he suddenly call me that make my heart beat so fast.

''Ms. Moretti, I need to talk to you.'' striktong sabi nito.

Tumango na lang ako at sinenyasan si Vera.

''Bakit po sir?'' nailing na tanong ko.

Kaming dalawa na lang kase dito dahil hinintay niya pang umalis ang lahat ng studyante na ikinataka ko.

''Sir huh? Sounds so good the way you say it baby.'' he whispered on air.

I confusedly looked at him dahil hindi ko naintindihan ang sinabi niya.

He just rolled his eyes and walked away from me. I was left dumbfounded. What's with him?! I try to hide my smile but I can't help to feel the kilig.

I love the way he acts like that.

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong pumasok dala ang cookies na binigay sa akin ni kuya. I'm planning to give the one box of cookies to him since it was his favorite.

I waved my hands to him and smile sweetly when I saw him.

"Good morning!" masayang bati ko dito.

"Morning."

"I have something for you!" sabay abot sa cookies.

Nagtataka itong tumingin sa inabot ko ngunit tipid rin naman ngumiti.

He likes it!

"Thanks for this."

My heart beats so fast! I feel so kilig!

"May pasok ka ngayon?" tanong ko.

"Obviously." napakamot ako sa noo.

"Hehe, kailan ka free?"

"Why?" masungit na tanong nito.

"Wala lang."

He crossed his arms. "Then I won't tell."

"Ang daya." ngumuso ako.

"Stop pouting." inis na saway nito sa akin.

"Why?" ginaya ko ang reaksyon nito kanina.

"Nothing."

"Then I won't stop pouting."

He rolled his eyes, obviously lost his patience.

Naglakad na ito palayo sa akin ngunit sumunod lang ako dito.

"San ka punta?"

"To the place you are not allowed." masungit nitong sabi sa akin habang patuloy lang ang paglakad.

"Sungit!"

Dahil nga kailangan ko na rin pumasok sa klase ay hindi ko na ito nasundan pa. Matapos ang klase namin ay umuwi na agad ako dahil nalaman ko na maaga ang labas nila kaya malungkot ako dahil hindi ko siya nakita.

It's okay self, you can talk to him in i*.

I was laying on my bed now while thinking what kind of conversation I'm going to open up.

Napahagikhik ako sa message ko. Nanlaki ang mata ko nang makita na typing ito.

"Omg!" sigaw ko habang nagpagulong-gulong pa sa kama dahil sa kilig.

Pero ang saya na naramdaman ko ay napalitan ng inis dahil sa sagot nito.
