ALYSSA’S POV.

After taking a nice hot bath to relieve all my stressed muscles, I went back to the living room.

“Hey Aly, come eat dinner.” I heard Mum’s say.

“Thanks, mum.” I pecked her cheek and saw Maria still seating on the couch, “Maria, come on.” She shook her head.

“Oh, I’m filled up already. Mum fed me.” She said with a blush, while I smiled.

“Okay.” I sat down as mum placed my food on the table, I munched on it hungrily.

“Mum, remember I’m going to the party tomorrow.” She hummed and asked, “what time are you leaving?”

“At 10:00pm.” Wait for it, Aly.

“What! Ten that’s so late, are you going for clubbing.” She flared up, and I groaned.

“Mum, I’m not going to any club, it’s just a party, a company party and like I told you before, I must be there since I’m the boss’s secretary.” I continue munching on my food.
