Chapter Twenty

ALYSSA’S POV.

The blaring sound of my annoying alarm woke me up from my peaceful sleep. My dreams felt so real, it was about a certain someone I have a huge crush on, and I dreamt about him kissing me like his life depended on it. Fuck you alarm. I did my usual morning routine then went to the living room, I met Mum sitting on the couch going through some ROM com. She loves watching k-dramas, and I’m also a huge fan of them, before I started working, we always had a night of movie marathon. Watching different k-dramas in one night.

“Good morning, mum.” I hugged her from her back.

“Hi honey, how was your night?”

“It was fine, mum.” I looked around the living room but couldn’t find Frank, “Mum, where’s Frank?”

“He went out early, didn’t know where he was going, and he didn’t bother telling me.” She shrugged. She may act nonchalant and all that, but I know she’s worried sick, that was the perk of being a mother.

“Mum are you okay.”

“Yeah, I’m good now go get some breakfast bef
