Chapter 12

Ducan's p.o.v

I walked out of the dungeon with the human girl in my arms. She was unconscious from the pain and healing energy I had used on her.

Her words were still playing in my mind and I couldn't hold back from smiling.

She had a chance to refuse both of my requests yet she accepted one. Was she that desperate to leave this territory?. She was even willing to search for the holy sword that was hard to find, if not impossible.

When I walked into my room, I moved to the bed and carefully put her down.

Her cheeks were still wet from the tears and she looked peaceful with her eyes closed.

I moved my hand wiping off her tears before sitting down next to her.

I hated humans so damn much and I didn't like her. The only reason she was back in my room was because I was very intrigued by her actions.

She was rather stupid to believe me so easily just because I was half human and she had met me before in the past.

If she was to find out who I truly was, she would make sure to never
