Chapter 58

Eleanor's p.o.v

I walked to Victor's cell with tears blurring my vision. I didn't care if I would fall or not, all I knew was that I wanted nothing to do with Ducan, not even to look at him.

When I stood at the entrance of the cell, Victor quickly stood up and faced me.

"Eleanor." He whispered softly and tried to move forward but the chains stopped him.

"What did he do, did he hurt you!" He screamed furiously.

"No," I whispered huskily then moved closer and stood in front of him.

"Then what did he do to you!. Eleanor, you rarely cry!" He exclaimed.

"He..he told me the truth." I said then cried loudly.

He sighed heavily and pulled me into his embrace.

"See, I told you so. He was only using you all this time. He never truly loved you. If he did, he would have told you the truth way before I exposed him." He said as I sobbed.

My heart was badly hurting and I didn't want to be in the demon territory anymore.

"I want to go home," I whispered.

"We will, I promise. No matter what
