My gut twisted at the sight of my wife with her tear-stained eyes.
When she fixed her gaze on me, my lungs felt constricted.
Her eyes dripped with venom.
Instantly, I felt something was off.
Subconsciously, I stepped back, flustered.
It was like being transported back to Cassy's pregnancy days when the mere sight of me disgusted her.
