CHAPTER 36: DOCUMENT IS COMPROMISED

Dusk was drawing near and Cara was still nowhere to be found, both men paced up and down the road while Amber sat with Mason, eating ice cream with him.

"Aunty Amber, what's wrong with daddy and Uncle Evans?"

"Daddy and Uncle Evans are waiting for mummy. Mummy should be here by now but we don't know why she's not here and it is making everybody worried."

"But you don't look worried and you are also sitting with me, eating ice cream," he said innocently.

"Because I'm not wearing it on my face doesn't mean I'm not worried."

Jason brought out his cellphone, trying to ring her line again. Same story, it went straight to voicemail.

"Is it going through already?" Evans asked with concerns laced in his voice.

"Not at all, I wonder why her phone will decide not to go through now. Of all days," Jason said.

"I have an idea, let me go up to the management and see if they can find any details on the flight," Evans suggested. "Stay with Amber and Mason, I'll be back soon."
