CHAPTER 43: LET'S GET MARRIED

As soon as his eyes flickered open, they came in contact with the bright white light, he winced and shut them almost immediately. He positioned himself properly and turned himself to the other side of the bed, facing downwards. He sat upright and decided to evaluate himself, he had passed the night in his office wear.

The door swung open and Evans' head popped out. He came into full view with a cup of coffee, some pills and a glass of water in a tray.

"Figured out your head will be banging. Here, I brought some pills for you," he dropped it on the bedside table for him.

"Thanks man," he gulped the pills down his throat in a hurry. "You couldn't have changed my clothes?"

Evans looked at him like he suddenly grew 2 heads, a short mocking laugh complimenting the look on his face. "You are joking, right?"

"Get out of here man, you are about to spit rubbish," he said, grabbing the cup of coffee.
