Even though the ceremony might eventually go on after Shawn does whatever he has gone to do, I was glad I still have him a taste of defeat, he needed to feel it to know how it felt like.

I had been defeated by him multiple times, he always finds a way to get to me whenever I try to escape from him, just one way or the other, I needed to show him what that felt like.

I was pushed back into the room we left from minutes ago by the guards, along with Anna and one other lady that I was just seeing.

I fell on the bed, the heavy ball of the wedding dress was making me uncomfortable and I wished I could just take it off, I wasn’t even ready and in for any marriage with Shawn in the first place.

I already stole a spare key from Anna when the guards were struggling to drag me back to the room, she was so distracted that she didn’t know that the key was already falling out of her pocket, I knew the heavens were on my side when I saw it just right before it could fall down.
