The following day was one of the big days for the students at the Kibich University. The annual cultural festival was scheduled for later that night. At around midday, all the classes for the day where done. Jane and Vanessa, her best and closest friend, were among others coming from the classes. One could easily tell the importance of the day to the students from the livelihood amongst them as they walked to get ready for the great event.
Among the students was also Jonas and his best and closest friend Toby. Both were classmates to Jane and Vanessa. The four were pursuing the same degree in journalism. Sweet melodies could be heard as the birds intoned early morning acclaims in thanksgiving. Indistinct engine revs and tire squishes could be heard from a distance as few to diminutive cars sped by on the highway.
