Chapter 55. The Hesitancy

Another Alpha died at Albert's hands. More power to the Alpha. The remaining members of the South River Pack scattered after seeing their Alpha and his son dead. They ran away from Albert's palace because they didn't want to be the next victims.

Meanwhile, Albert approached the wounded Darla. He squatted beside her and examined her wound.

"Ouch," moaned Darla as Albert removed her clothes to look at the wound.

"This wound is quite deep. But don't worry. It will heal quickly," Albert said as he looked at Darla and Sebastian.

"I know, but I can't move," Darla said.

Albert looked at her. There was quite a lot of blood flowing. Darla's face looked pale. She was hurt pretty badly.

"That's normal. You lost much blood," Albert said.

At that moment, Ryn came to see Darla.

"Is she okay?" Ryn asked. Even though she had personal matters with Darla, the woman was still part of the flock.

"Argh! Sshh ...." Darla hissed and winced. The woman looked to be in much pain.

"Hey, are you okay?"
