Chapter 78. Like a Predator

Even though Albert let Ryn go, the man did not let his beloved out of his sight. The location of Lance's apartment near Wolfspring Park made it easy for the Alpha to do other things while keeping an eye on the girl. The search for the mother was still a priority. Because the sooner he found a way to break the prophecy, the sooner he could bring Ryn back to his side. Albert wanted to prove to Ryn that he would do anything to break the prophecy and reunite with her.

Like the previous days, Albert stood across the street, looking at the apartment balcony where Ryn occasionally enjoyed the air outside. Even though the girl was living with a man, Albert should feel grateful that Lance was not as bad as he thought. Albert had been overthinking that Lance and Ryn would engage in more intimate physical contact. But as it turns out, Albert doesn't feel any sense of betrayal even now.
