Kara was sleeping soundly within minutes. Her face looked so peaceful. Her soft black tresses clung to her face, making her appear innocent in his eyes. She was so young.
Nico gently brushed the hair off her face.
Her mouth twitched. His hands stopped mid-air. He held her breath, afraid his actions would disturb her sleep.
He breathed a sigh when Kara slept on.
Every time Nico looked at her innocent face, his heart would stop.
