CHAPTER 28. HUNGER

Angelina couldn't sleep. She kept moving restlessly due to her empty stomach as she left her food behind when she was too engrossed in chatting with her best friend at the restaurant earlier.

Angelina couldn't take it anymore. Finally she got up and went to the kitchen to see if there was any food she could eat or ingredients that could be used to make food.

Actually, she could have ordered food from outside but outside the snow was getting thicker and it seemed that many roads were closed. If he insisted on ordering food from outside who knows when it would arrive in his hands, it might only arrive tomorrow when he had starved to death.

Angelina opened the fridge but there were no groceries in there and no food ready to eat either. There was no water or food.

Angelina cursed Alex inwardly because his fridge was empty, like an uninhabited house.

Angelina pursed her lips. She wondered what she could eat now? Would she have to eat a shard?

With a little hope Angelina checked the cabinet
