CHAPTER 29. COLD NIGHT

Alex had been out for a while and hadn't returned until now. Angelina was a little worried about him, especially since it was so cold outside.

"He can't freeze to death outside, right?" muttered Angelina as she shuddered in horror, imagining if Alex froze to death outside because he was looking for food for her. Would Angelina be held accountable by her family later?

Speaking of family, where was Alex's family?

The question crossed Angelina's head.

Come to think of it, Alex's house was quite big. There was no way he didn't have a family.

Angelina glanced at the clock hanging on the wall. It had been about an hour since Alex left but there was no sign of her return. How far had she travelled in search of food on this snowy night?

"Hoaam ...." Angelina yawned.

Already the girl was sleepy, hungry, and now she had to wait for Alex for a very long time.

Angelina finally lay down on the sofa. Because Alex took so long to return, Angelina was tired of waiting and finally fell asleep.
