The Concrete Truth

It wasn't funny.

Especially for the guests who had come to witness this wedding.They have been sitting for an hour and some minutes,tightly packed together on the church wooden chairs that was not convenient for them at all.

Still,the bridegroom was yet to show face.

It was even more painful for the bride.If ever a bride should cry then it should be tears of joy,not of pain and regret.

However,Jamie didn't care.As the guests sneered at her and hauled sarcastic comments at her,the tears rolled down her cheeks.

What was her offence??

Mrs Bryan that was used to feeding her encouraging words that were nothing but lies,was nowhere to be found.

She was outside the cathedral trying Jake's number but all to no avail.

When it eventually went through,the first thing she heard was a gunshot which frightened the hell out of her.

She instantly forgot about the befitting scolding she was about to give him and her motherly role took place instead.
