The disheartening statement

I gulped down into nothing as I stared at Ryan who glared at me with an angry and cold look on his face. Though he used to be angry, he'd never looked this pissed before. Did he hear something about me? I couldn't help but ask myself.

I swallowed hard as he stood up from the chair with a fierce and angry look on his face.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, trying to confirm if he'd really heard something from me or if he was just assuming.

"I think this is high time you tell me what you're hiding," he demanded, his voice cold and hostile.

I gulped down into nothing and struggled to say."I… don't understand what you're saying… I'm not hiding anything…" I stammered, and he scoffed loudly.

"What are you hiding from me, Natalie?" He asked again.

It seems he'd heard something about me even though I couldn't tell what it was.

I can't possibly tell him that his brother has been on my neck for the past two weeks making things hard for me in the pack.
