32. Observing wingless angels from a distance

Amelie greeted the morning with a smile. Unlike the past days, where her face was always gloomy if the sun began to rise from its hiding place.

Her tiny lips continued to hum as she got ready to go to work.

"Hurry home when your work is done. I will always miss my handsome great-grandson." Marie said as she pecked the cheek of her great-grandson, who was in Amelie's arms.

"Grandma, don't worry, I'll be home as soon as the shop closes." Amelie said it with a smile. This morning, she was so happy to be able to bring Axel to work and see her baby whenever she felt homesick.

"Call home if he cries, then I'll come right over," Louise said in a serious tone with one hand clenched in the air, as if the old man could run as fast as a horse.

Marie sighed and rolled her eyes, having heard her husband's words, which she thought were too much. How could Louise catch up with Amelie by running? While just walking to the bathroom alone, it took the man ten minutes to get there.
