65. The revelation of the lover's profession

Bryan escorted the Hayes family to the main entrance of Chez Rouze that afternoon. The man's lips did not stop smiling as they were about to part. The compliment that escaped their lips was the reason why.

"Tomorrow night, come to my house for dinner. I'll prepare your favorite meal," Theresia said, to which the other family members agreed with a nod.

"Yes, Auntie. I'll be there tomorrow night." Bryan replied with a confident smile.

"You still remember the way to my house, don't you, Bryan?" asked Jonathan in a joking tone.

"Of course I do! You even forgot that I grew up in your house," Bryan recalled, laughing out loud.

The man remembered that, from the time he was a child until he was a teenager, he always went to Jonathan's house when school was over. He would only return home when his grandparents called and asked him to come home.

"I'll say goodbye, brother," Jonathan shook Bryan's hand, and they embraced after the familiarity of their childhood.

"I'll be home; don't forget."
