58: BLOOD

I woke up suddenly as a sharp pain shot through my stomach. I glanced at the clock on the bedside table and realized it was only two in the morning. I was sweating profusely and couldn't help but clutch my stomach, the pain intense and unrelenting. I let out a soft groan, hoping to alleviate even a fraction of the discomfort, but it persisted.

I tried to get up from the bed, hoping it would ease the pain, but before I could fully rise, I found myself sitting back down. The bulge in my stomach was unmistakable, so I decided to change into a dress for more comfort. However, lying down didn't bring any relief, so I hoped that sitting or standing would help alleviate what I was feeling.

The room was quiet and dark, except for the faint buzz of insects. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, while the pain in my stomach seemed to intensify. I didn't know what could have caused the sudden onset of pain, but all I wanted was for it to go away.
