Past two in the morning, I woke with a start. Feeling around the bed, I noticed my husband wasn't beside me. Where could he have gone? I also felt thirsty and hungry, sensing my husband was keeping something from me. I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease; he hadn't told me anything, but I had a hunch. I let out a deep sigh, hearing my husband's voice at the bar counter. He was probably drinking again, and there must be something bothering him that he wasn't telling me.
