Chapter 20

Phone Call

I knocked softly on her room at the far end of the hallway. I knocked because I knew that by that time the child was already asleep.

Later someone opened it and it's Nanny She came up to me. "Ma'am Brii?"

"Is Davvy asleep yet?"

It nodded at me. "She just fell asleep Ma'am, why?"

“I just wanted to take a look. May I come in?” I ask her.

“O-okay Ma’am. Come in.” And it eased the door open.

Upon my entry, I immediately saw the beauty and size that seemed for the princess room, its pink and peach motif. Lots of toys and different kinds of barbie. Until my eyes went to the various pictures of it in the same huge picture frame hanging on the wall.

I stared at it and approached it slightly. There, I knew it was her picture since she’s a month old ’till she turns into a year-old girl. That was pure grinning in the picture.

I get my phone and I immediately captured her wonderful collages while the Nanny was busy arranging those stuffed toys that were scattered on the carpeted floor.
