Chapter 25

Sincerely

It’s Thursday afternoon and since it’s my last day at Dave and Davvy's house. I’ve done nothing since morning but to address all of Davvy’s needs, with breakfast, lunch as well as her school lunch.

I do it every day even though sometimes I am still being manipulated and shown by Davvy’s misfortune. But at least she still ate it. It was only then that I appreciated that she also liked what I was doing. It's just a habit of not wanting to show me that she likes what I do for her.

Since this morning when I arrived at the office, there was no time that I was not dazed whenever I thought that I was leaving and I would leave her again.

I sighed.

Davvy also wants me to leave. She doesn't feel me in their house. For almost one week of my stay here, I have never heard her even call me aunt. I did my best to make it up with her. Even though I didn’t personally take care of Davvy, and I wasn’t even personally by her side all the time and day, but I did my best to address the little one
